I’ve worked with Applus+, one of the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification companies, for over a decade — supporting their operations in Scotland, England and Qatar with marketing, digital content and websites.
Applus+ operates in more than 70 countries and employs over 20,000 people worldwide. Their services include non-destructive testing, inspection, certification, quality assurance, and specialist technical training, supporting industries such as energy, construction, automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing in meeting strict safety and compliance standards.
Website design for technical training
My work with Applus+ began with the launch of their Rope Access Training Centre in Grangemouth, Scotland. I designed and built a dedicated training website with a fully integrated booking system to promote and sell industry-recognised courses.
The website was structured to be clear, easy to manage and practical for both staff and customers, helping Applus+ streamline enquiries, bookings and course administration.
Video production and brand consistency
Alongside website development, I’ve produced a wide range of professional video content to support Applus+ training and wider business activity in Scotland. All video work was carefully aligned with Applus+ global brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across markets while clearly communicating the value of their services.
This work was later extended to their training centre in Luton, England, where I was commissioned to produce similar video content to support course promotion and internal communications.
International projects and ongoing support
More recently, Applus+ in Qatar appointed me to develop a new website for their training operation, building on the successful work delivered in the UK. I’ve also produced an online brochure for the UK business, designed to clearly present services, training and expertise to both domestic and international audiences.
Across all projects, the focus has been on usability, clarity and consistency — ensuring Applus+ marketing materials work effectively across multiple regions while supporting commercial objectives.
