Marketing Support for Scotland’s Tourism Industry
Since 2010, I’ve worked with many of Scotland’s leading tourism and hospitality businesses. Based in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs – Scotland’s first National Park – I’ve supported almost every major local business over the past 15 years. I also run, See Loch Lomond, a visitor website featuring guides to the park, attracting around 2 million visits to date
Trusted by Destinations and Businesses
One of my early projects was photography, video, and campaigns for Love Loch Lomond, the area’s official destination group. I later joined their board, providing five years of marketing advice to help grow the area’s visitor economy. Another key early partnership was with The Oak Tree Inn at Balmaha, where I developed the Balmaha Experience campaign to promote East Loch Lomond, helping to boost visitor numbers significantly.
At Loch Katrine, I’ve played a long-term role in destination marketing for Steamship Sir Walter Scott – from digital content to TV advertising.
I’ve also supported smaller tourism businesses and professionals across Scotland, including Kathy Cameron, a Blue Badge Tour Guide in Argyll and the Scottish Driver Guides group.
Supporting Scotland’s Visitor Experiences
I’ve helped refresh the content and promote Scotland’s first geographical driving route, The Trossachs Trail, creating a website supported by a printed guide, map and signage.
My portfolio includes visitor information and interpretation projects, brochures, marketing consultancy, website development, photography, video production, and social media campaigns. Please see some case studies below, and also read the section about my work with holiday accommodation providers in Scotland.
